Its kinda' sad that we have gotten away from that. She was always interested in our families past, and she even created the most extensive family tree of our family that I know of. The only thing that discouraged her was lack of memories. She always wanted to know how they thought and what lessons they could have taught us. I read another blog about history videos, I encourage any one to check it out http://www.life-history-videos.com. The blogger said he has dedicated like 20 years of his life to capture the memories of people and has a few sample videos to look at.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4721914572924459085.post-21321660647013366792008-05-28T10:51:00.000-05:002008-05-28T10:51:00.000-05:00Hi Friends,I Find Absolutely FREE PlayBoy & Pentho...Hi Friends,

I Find Absolutely FREE PlayBoy & Penthouse:

http://www.mbn-cash.com/click.php?affid=1021

If I find something else I'll inform you.

Best Regards,
JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4721914572924459085.post-72665968432932279742008-04-24T19:22:00.000-05:002008-04-24T19:22:00.000-05:00I'm a shoe person too...I can totally relate...God...I'm a shoe person too...I can totally relate...God Bless her!! They'll probably be strapped to the roof. Have to have room for all those shoes ya know!
Make sure she takes the witching sticks.
I'm sure there will be lots of interesting adventures she'll have and she'll probably have enough stories for a whole program.
Wish I could go along, I'm due for a good laugh. Plus I'm getting the cemetery fever now that the weather is really good.
Tell her not to run over any tombstones on this trip.
KayceeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18301735182882763419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4721914572924459085.post-23319892398775701992008-04-24T14:54:00.000-05:002008-04-24T14:54:00.000-05:00You Go Genealogy Girls---we're gone!!!!! Some good and some bad, but we are here at this place in life now, so here we go! We will make the most of the trip, wish you could come along. The only problem there is you would take up our "extra" room! We can always rent a trailer if necessary. Keep up the good writing. I don't think the question ever got answered in 60+ years of their marriage. They are probably still talking about it! This went on all my life traveling and growing up with them. They are cherished memoiries! I visited your Mom's blog and she told me about yours. I've seen quite a few genealogy blogs, but none from a family member of a genealogist. Look forward to reading more of your blog.

I invite you to visit my blogs also.

www.findyourfolks.blogspot.com

www.professordru.blogspot.comProfessor Druhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17674796159290496998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4721914572924459085.post-22454049272196532892008-03-20T09:11:00.000-05:002008-03-20T09:11:00.000-05:00Hi Susie, Thanks for coming to the fair last night...Hi Susie,
Thanks for coming to the fair last night. Tyrah is doing a good job. I think she's caught the Genealogy Pox from her Grandmother.
Your mom is so great. I'm so glad she moved back. She's like a set of jumper cables. Our Society was dying a quick death and she comes back and jump starts the whole Society. She's just what we needed.
We'll have to drag you and Tyrah out on a cemetery prowl the next time we go. You'll have a blast. Your Mom is a hoot to watch with the witching sticks.
Later,
KayceeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18301735182882763419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4721914572924459085.post-23358317580156475362008-03-16T12:36:00.000-05:002008-03-16T12:36:00.000-05:00Hi Susie, I enjoyed reading your blog. Your Mom has contacted Floyd about the trip and told us about your website.

My mother wasn't a Genealogist but she was the "Family Cemeterian". That's my word for the relative that's in charge of decorating all the family graves in Fairview Cemetery, Rushville, NE, each Memorial Day.
She was almost obsessed with what a pretty cemetery we had. It never failed that whenever we had visitors, Mom would drive them up to the cemetery to see the graves.
My cousin told me this story years ago. On a trip back to see her mother, the highway passed the road to the cemetery. Her daughter said "Oh Look! There's the Cemetery where Auntie Flo lives". I guess Mom had taken them to the cemetery so many times that Janie just thought she lived there.

Good luck on your blog.
Sincerely, Jeanie KnudtsonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
